Alice’s vintage/wonderland inspired nursery was finished before she was born, so this is past due. What’s my excuse? I’ve been busy with family visiting, the holidays, traveling for engagement shoots, and just general “we now have a small human” mayhem. Things have finally settled down, briefly. I have gotten more than a few questions about it, so here it is: Alice’s Nursery Tour (and some newborn photos I have also yet to share. Oops.)
For Alice’s nursery, I wanted an homage to her namesake. I also didn’t want it overly themed. So, instead of the giant murals her dad lovingly suggested, Alice’s room features simple, subtle references combined with classic furniture pieces. This room has a white rabbit or two, and plenty of whimsy. Find reminders of the classic story and Disney film everywhere from the ceiling to one very important doorknob!
