I love capturing the wild beauty of nature. Photographing couples exploring a mountain top or getting lost in the woods together inspires me so much! But a lot of times, the city is my happy place. I love architecture and the history that lives in old buildings. And even though I moved to Arizona more than a year ago, I’ve barely been to Phoenix! I was so excited for the opportunity to do some urban exploring when this couple contacted me for an engagement session close to home in downtown Phoenix.
After driving around Phoenix scouting locations, I chose Roosevelt Row. It is right in the heart of Phoenix and a central hub for local art! Between the galleries and taco joints, there are enormous murals and street art in every alley way. The city is so quiet at sunrise. We were able to have a very relaxed session just hanging out and exploring the art around every corner!
Do you love downtown Phoenix?
I would love to shoot another downtown Phoenix engagement session, or even a wedding! There are so many options for a cute and unconventional wedding venue right in the heart of the city. A wedding in an art gallery or at a quirky coffee shop is a very unique and surprisingly realistic option!
Are you planning a 2019 or 2020 wedding? Let me help! I still have availability and would be so excited to get to know you and be a part of your day. Contact me here and let’s get this party started!
