The first time I visited, I realized immediately that I wanted to do a Flagstaff engagement or couples photo shoot. The mountains and trees all over Flagstaff are so beautiful, you can barely tell you’re still in Arizona! I got to Flagstaff around 2 PM after shooting an elopement in Sedona that morning. Since this was only the second time I’d been to Flagstaff, I still needed to location scout before meeting up with my couple for their sunset photoshoot! I drove into Flagstaff and I saw Humphrey’s Peak covered in snow. I knew I wanted to shoot with it as the backdrop.
This is how my day went from there: I drove all over Flagstaff. I hiked 3 separate mountain trails. Then, I got lost in the woods alone. I finally made it back to my car and prioritized getting tacos over a nap because I was HANGRY. After all of that, I found a park that would at least work, and went to meet my couple. After I picked them up, I took a wrong turn and… there it was. Mt. Humphrey was large and in charge, right in front of a beautiful field. It was exactly what I looked for all day.
Love this Flagstaff engagement/couples session?
So do I! And I’d love to explore some more with you for a Flagstaff engagement session, couples shoot, or even an elopement (YES PLEASE!). Tell me what you want and let’s make it happen!
Even though my day leading up to this shoot was pretty stressful, I see the humor in it now. And my struggle was apparently very entertaining to everyone following along on Instagram! Follow me to see more of my adventures and day to day life as a photographer!
