Paradise Valley, Arizona
The week leading up to this outdoor wedding at El Chorro in Paradise Valley, Arizona was a nail-biter. It poured rain all week – we even got hail and some snow the day before! Totally not typical weather for the Phoenix valley. The morning of the wedding came and… nothing but clear skies and the most beautiful weather!
This tiny wedding was simple, elegant, and intimate. Only the bride and groom’s closest friends and family watched as they exchanged vows on El Chorro’s even lawn, overlooking Camelback Mountain. The only downside to the beautiful weather was that the snow gracing the top of the mountains around Scottsdale disappeared as suddenly as it arrived.
After the ceremony, guests mingled in the courtyard before moving into a cozy dining room for dinner. I loved the subtle, rustic details of the venue. Simple decor felt perfectly in place for the Southwest and let the beauty of the venue shine through.
I can’t get enough of that breathtaking Camelback Mountain view! It’s the perfect backdrop for any Arizona wedding.
