Any excuse I have to drive north during Phoenix summers, I jump at. I headed to Payson, Arizona for this engagement session to meet this beautiful couple – as well as a couple of beautiful dogs! Your pups are always welcome with me for photos, especially if they’re as cute and well-behaved as these two!
Check out that name tag! Isn’t Ace the cutest name for a puppy? She was only a few months old and already knew to stay close while she explored the forest.
Are dog kisses or human kisses better? That’s a great debate for another time. The rest of this engagement session was a little less fluffy but still amazing. We were overlooking the Coconino National Forest at the Mogollon Rim and it is a truly magical place. The sunsets here are so full of color and golden light.

I automatically know I’ll get along with someone if they have the same love for quirky socks that I do! These outfits were the perfect choice: neutral and comfortable. Get more ideas for engagement session outfits on my Pinterest board!
