A quick note from your tree-hugging photographer:
I’m so happy that the photography community is beginning to recognize the importance of respecting the beautiful places we love to photograph. As photographers, educating ourselves and our clients on the principles of Leave No Trace is vital to the health of our environment. But, we still have a long way to go to reduce our footprint. Traveling frequently for photo shoots seems glamorous, but it’s not eco-friendly.
I love traveling, and I love exploring new places. I love photographing weddings, elopements, and couples in love in the most breathtaking locations on earth! But I love our planet more. I will absolutely continue traveling as a photographer, but I am limiting the amount of work I accept outside of Arizona as an effort to reduce my own footprint. If I’m not the photographer for you, please consider hiring a local photographer. Support the local economy, save on travel fees, and reduce emissions.
That being said, here is a list of places I would love to photograph you in! Some are in Arizona, as Arizona has a huge variety of incredible landscapes. If there is a location you’re excited about that you don’t see here, please tell me! I may be even more excited about it than you are.
- Mount Lemmon, Tucson AZ
- Grand Canyon National Park
- Chugach Mountains, Alaska
- Big Sur, California
- Yosemite National Park
- Grand Teton National Park
- Yellowstone National Park
- Mt. Ranier National Park
- Kauai, Hawaii
Interested in another incredible location you don’t see here? Then I’m stoked to hear about it! Shoot me a message and tell me your vision.
